somewhere kind

Somewhere, someone gets it.

Some things are easier to share with someone outside your everyday circle.

A place I once wished existed

I built Somewhere Kind because I know the feeling of needing to talk but not knowing who to turn to. Opening up to friends or family can be difficult. For me, talking one to one with someone outside that circle has often felt easier.

Some of the conversations in which I felt most understood were with people who had been through something similar. That shared understanding made me want to create a place where others could find it too.

Somewhere Kind is that place: adults talking honestly about life, listening without having to fix one another, and offering support in both directions. No dating, no public performance. Just room to be heard and to hear someone else.

Peer support can be meaningful alongside professional care. This platform is not therapy or an emergency service.

A conversation with room for both of you

Somewhere Kind connects adults for one-to-one mental health peer support. You can talk about a difficult feeling, an ordinary day, loneliness or something you have carried for a while. You can also come because you feel well and have room to listen.

Write a short note, choose the languages you can chat in and meet another person. Share at your own pace. Listen with curiosity. You do not have to solve each other's lives.

Support, without a performance

There is no public feed, popularity score or pressure to sound positive. A nickname is enough. This is not dating, therapy or a replacement for professional care.

People are connected automatically when someone eligible is available. They may not be online at the same moment. You can keep looking while you have other conversations, and stop looking whenever you choose.

Small things can matter

Reading carefully, asking a thoughtful question and making someone feel heard can be a meaningful start. You are welcome here whether you need a listening ear or want to offer one.
