A kind place, together.
These terms explain who can use Somewhere Kind and how we keep conversations respectful.

Who this is for
You must be at least 18 years old. Provide accurate age information and use only accounts you are authorised to access. Somewhere Kind is a free peer-support service, not healthcare, counselling, a dating service or emergency assistance.
Your conversation partner is another person, not an assigned professional. Connection and response times depend on real people's availability. No outcome, immediate response or continuous monitoring is guaranteed.
Your participation
Follow the Kind Promise and safety rules. Do not harass, threaten, solicit sexual content, encourage harm, request money, impersonate others, distribute illegal content or evade restrictions. Do not share another person's private information.
You choose what to write and can stop a conversation or stop looking for new people. Avoid identifying details you do not want someone else to know. Although sharing another member's content is against the rules, we cannot prevent a recipient from recording their screen.
You keep rights to what you write. You allow the service to store, display and process it only to deliver the service, handle safety reports and fulfil applicable obligations, as explained in Privacy.
Reports and decisions
Reports may lead to removal of content, temporary restrictions or account closure. Where appropriate, we provide the reason and a way to ask for reconsideration. Appeals are reviewed by the operator; an independent second reviewer is not promised.
Contact the operator if you think a decision is mistaken or if you need to report illegal content without an account. Include enough context to identify the concern, but do not send unnecessary sensitive information.
Service changes and your rights
Features may change and interruptions can happen. We will communicate material changes to these terms and request renewed acceptance when appropriate. You can export your information and request account deletion.
Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that applicable law gives you. Questions, complaints and requests can be sent through Contact.
