A kind place, with clear boundaries.
Peer support works best when everyone can share, listen and set limits.
The Kind Promise
Listen as much as you share. Be respectful, even when your experiences differ. Ask before offering advice; do not diagnose someone or tell them to change treatment.
This is an adult, non-romantic space. Sexual requests, harassment, threats, encouragement of harm, selling, money requests and scams are not welcome. Keep contact details, external links and meetup requests out of conversations.
You can leave, pause, remove or block a conversation. If you can, a brief kind goodbye helps the other person understand. You never need to stay in an uncomfortable conversation.
What moderation actually does
AI reviews conversation context after a report. It does not read every new message for moderation. Simple text rules prevent sharing contact details and links. Optional profile photos are checked before they are visible to other people.
A report can be reviewed by the platform's moderator, including relevant messages between the people involved. An unclear or unavailable AI check goes to manual review. Some confirmed policy violations may lead to an automatic restriction when that setting is enabled; serious decisions can be challenged.
The service is run by one operator. Reports are checked regularly, with an aim to review within 48 hours. This is a target, not a guarantee, and the service is not monitored continuously.
When something feels wrong
Use Report in a chat or on a message. Choose the relevant rules and add context if you can. You can also block the person. Reporting someone for distress does not make expressing distress a punishable act.
If you cannot sign in, use Contact to report a safety or privacy concern. Include the page or conversation reference if you have it. You do not need an account to contact the operator.
Support without interruption
A limited text check can recognise some direct expressions of immediate distress and offer a small, dismissible support card. It can miss context or make mistakes; it is not a diagnosis or an emergency monitoring service. It does not alert the moderator or punish either person.
Help is always available through Find support. Local services have their own languages, hours and eligibility. If you need urgent help, contact a suitable local emergency or crisis service rather than waiting for a reply here.
Private to other members, not end-to-end encrypted
You use a nickname with other members. The service still processes your email and account information. Messages are encrypted in transit and at rest, but they are not end-to-end encrypted. Report reviews require access to relevant conversation content.
